I needed a website done yesterday. Can you get it done today?
Short answer: definitely not. If we produced mediocre or substandard designs, we'd be available at a moment’s notice and would produce a mediocre or substandard design for you today that was half-brained with no forethought whatsoever. But that isn’t how we work. As with anything creative, it is a process. Although we’re very good at juggling multiple projects, a website worth viewing is not something that can be created in a day. There are so many variables that go into the planning of a website, that it is physically impossible to purchase a domain name, purchase web hosting, and design a useable website in one day. But don’t let that stop you from contacting us. We have been known to pull a rabbit out of our magic hat at times and maybe we can discuss alternatives with you while we discuss your website plans.
I don’t have a domain name yet and wouldn't have a clue as to where to purchase one. Will you purchase one for me?
Absolutely. Signature Worx can search for and secure your domain name(s) for you. The domain is yours, in your name, and administrative access will be given to you to manage, if necessary, in the future.
I don’t know anything about web hosting. Will you take care of this for me?

How do I get an email address with my domain name (myname@mydomainname.com)?
We always recommend having a business email address that includes your domain name as it looks more professional to your target market as well as making you more credible. In order to have an email account such as this, you first must own the domain name. From there your email addresses can either be set up with your web hosting company or sometimes by purchasing an email only account if you do not wish to have web hosting.
Should I attempt to maintain my own website/blog/eZine or hire someone like Signature Worx to take care of it?
We get asked this a lot! The right answer of course depends and requires us to know a little more about you but we'll give you the scaled down version.
If you really hate updating your website or find yourself avoiding it at all costs because you'll spend an hour on adding one paragraph, then the question to ask yourself is this: "How much is my time worth and what else could I be doing if I didn't have to update my own website?". If you hate wasting time or want to be doing something else, then the best thing for you to do is outsource it to someone who knows their stuff, make quick edits on the fly, and more than likely develop your site even further at a fraction of the cost for you to attempt to do it yourself.
If, on the other hand, you enjoy updating your website(s), have the appropriate tools such as an HTML editor, FTP program, and have a general knowledge of what is going on, then you may be more happier to keep maintaining your own site. However, at some point we believe you still must ask yourself the same question posed above: "How much is my time worth and what else could I be doing if I didn't have to update my own website?". In other words, just because you CAN do it doesn't necessarily mean you SHOULD be doing it :)
I’m not sure if I should hire someone to do my SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and PPC (Pay-Per-Click) for me. Why shouldn’t I do it myself?
We'll get right to the point regarding SEO and PPC. This is a tedious process, one that takes constant supervision and frequent updates to your site and/or your ad campaigns. Unless you keep up with the latest and greatest techniques, then you can't effectively improve your rankings or ad placement.
I would love to have someone take over my email marketing. Is that something Signature Worx would do?

How long do you keep my custom designed files?
We will keep your files pretty much forever barring any major catastrophes. We do have multiple backup systems in place just for that purpose. But we always provide you with the source file just in case.
I’m very anxious to see my website, why do I have to approve a draft that doesn’t have any of my content in it?
Patience, grasshopper! We have been around the block more than once, and we’ve nailed a system that works. When we design your site, we need your approval before converting it to HTML. We wait until it is converted to HTML before adding your content because if we go through the process, add all of your content and you don’t care for the design, it will be hours of work to start completely over. Bottom line is, we know what we’re doing. You have to trust us and go with the flow.
What happens if I’ve told people about my new site being ready at a certain time and something happens that it isn’t ready by then? It will look awful if someone types in my URL and gets nothing.
Firstly, we create a temporary “Coming Soon” landing page that includes your logo and contact information. Second, Signature Worx does everything in our power to make the deadline that we all have agreed upon, but honestly, it doesn’t happen every time due to many variables. One of the biggest reasons we don’t make the deadline is due to lack of communication by the client, such as not providing the content on time, not providing feedback or answering questions we have in a timely manner, etc. Creating a website is a two-way street and your participation is necessary.
